Banner Self-Service Finance (Web4U Finance)

Banner Finance has a Web4U component that can be used to approve (or disapprove) journal vouchers (JVs), view document details, and run budget queries. However, at Western, it is mostly used to approve/disapprove JVs (Millennium FAST Finance is generally used for the other two tasks).

If you have been set up as a JV approver, you will need to request Banner Finance permissions. When those permissions are granted, you will automatically have access to the “Approve Document” selection in Web4U Finance. Any JV that is waiting for your approval will be available for your review and approval/disapproval under that menu selection.
